I started collecting Fender Brochures when I was 16 years old (I am now 58).
My uncle who had a NEW '57 Precision Bass gave me the first 1957 and 1958 brochures.
I collected the rest over the years.

I sold my '61 Strat in 1963, but kept the original Stratocaster Instruction Manual and the Hang Tag that was attached to the headstock on all new instruments in 1961.
Notice the date it was made (Feb. 8, 1961) and the Serial Number (60551) on the inside of the Tag.                                                                             Wayne West
