Frederick Allan Hoffmann was born in Newark, New Jersey on January 17, 1944

Freddie started playing drums at the age of 15.

As well as playing drums, Freddie also sang occasionally and drove the Greyhound  Bus that carried the Villagers Review around the country.

After the Villagers disbanded in August 1968, Fred played drums with other famous recording artists such as Billy Joe Royal and B. J. Thomas.

Fred is deceased.
